Abstract

With the advent and flourishing of modern medical terms for mental health disorders, the normalization of mental illness has had an interesting effect of decreasing the public opinion of it's importance. The concept of order in society almost never translates to the complexities of mental illness. Through the so-called Luis structure of Order, and with the measurement system posited by Taylor Arruna, patient's reactions to order, measured in terms of Complexity and Adaptibility tell a story of the implications of the Luis Model for a Sanatorium.
